Meredith & Andy {Phoenix Maternity, Newborn, and Child Photography}

I was really excited when Meredith contacted me a few months back to schedule her Maternity session for this spring. The day of her session arrived…but so did the rain clouds! So we rescheduled for a few weeks out. The rain showed up AGAIN. Meredith was great. She really wanted a bright sunny day so we just rescheduled for another two weeks out. Low and behold, no rain clouds. But a sick little girl. (Mine!) We ended up having to reschedule about 4 times before we actually met up this past Sunday for her session! A true Murphy’s Law of events may have preceded her actual session, but our time together was lovely! The sun was shining, the day was breezy and warm and Meredith was absolutely radiant.

Andy, Meredith’s husband of three years, was a riot. He had us laughing the whole time. But the thing I will remember most about this session was they way he looked at her. My, oh my. Andy looked at Meredith like she was the most beautiful, amazing, funny, intelligent woman on the face of the planet. Every woman should be looked at like that at least once in her life. I had a great time spending time with them and I am so looking forward to meeting their new little boy when he makes his appearance! I have taken off a good month after the busy holiday season and am just getting back into the routine of working again. Kids are all back in school, life has settled down a bit and the glow of the Holiday season has passed. As I was looking through the pictures I have taken this passed year I was struck by a few beautiful things. I would call them the simple Life Lessons I have learned from all of you as we have spent time together! Thank you to my wonderful, amazing clients, family and friends who have let me follow them around with my camera. I am looking forward to all 2010 has to offer this year and pray your cup will be filled to overflowing with all of God’s blessings!

Well, I did this backwards! I just posted pictures of baby Sienna and went to link Katy’s maternity pictures to the post. But that’s a little hard to do when you don’t post them! In the craziness of the Holiday season I forgot to post pictures from Katy’s Baby Belly session. Which is amazing really, because one of my all time new favorite shots was from this sessions. So without further delay….here you go!!

And one of my new absolute favorite shots!!! Love this one. Big sister Charlotte has so much personality!

Meet sweet Sienna. Last month I did Katy’s maternity session out at their home. I recently went back to meet the lovely and very tiny baby Sienna. I really enjoyed meeting this family and I have a feeling you will be seeing more of them in the future!

Cali, Tomi and Shae- 4 Week old Triplets {Phoenix Newborn, Child and Family Photographer}

Last week I had a session with three very adorable, very tiny little girls! Meet Cali, Tomi and Shae. We planned the session on the day they turned 4 weeks old. I have never photographed triplets before and it was a complete joy! Birth weights for these little ones were 6 1/2 lbs, 5 1/2lbs and 4 3/4 lbs. Can you imagine?? Tomi and Shea are identical, down to their adorable ears! Shea is the smallest and was the most alert during our time together. Cali, little dreamer that she is, slept the entire time through. Wow, what an amazing gift! Arielle, hats off to the wonderful job you are doing with these newest little ones and fifteen month old big brother Christian! I love, love, LOVE doing maternity sessions! I love how hopeful mom’s-to-be are for their children. I love how pregnancy can allow you to celebrate your own beautiful body in a way that seems so much harder to do during any other season. Meet beautiful Anne. She is having her first son, a baby boy, in December. The nursery is all done. Baby showers are happening and life is sweet. Anne and hubby did GREAT during their session! Thank you for asking me to come capture these images of beautiful you!

I am in LOVE. Seriously. Head over heels in love with this little boy! We had an absolute dream session on Saturday. This little guy was all giggles and smiles, chubby cheeks and little boy go, go, GO! I am sneaking out of town in just a little bit, but could not leave with at least posting one or two from our session. Sarah and Ryan, thank you so much for letting me come play with you! Seriously, I don’t know why I love this picture so much. I just “do”. It cracks me up…one second they are right in front of you, the next you get nothing but toes as they boogey on by!

The Beautiful Bekken Family {Phoenix Child and Family Photography}

Last Saturday I spent the afternoon hanging out with the Bekken family. Mom and Dad were both close to celebrating their birthdays and wanted to capture some fun images of their family together. There are three super sweet, beyond cute little girls in this family. All of them did great in front of the camera. They definitely have some stars in this family! I met Brad and his family out at Kierland Commons for a very fun High School Senior session. When we first started Brad was a bit reserved and quiet. Understandably, it can be intimidating out in a public place having your pictures taken. By the end of his session he had warmed up and was great fun to work with. He did very well! Meet sweet baby Levi and his big sister Phoebe. Levi was just 6 weeks old when we did these pictures. I am always turned to complete mush when I do pictures of itty bitty babies. Those tiny little toes, those sweet little hands…I love everything about them! And then there was Phoebe. Phoebe is Levi’s beautiful big sister. She is such a fun mix of spunk and femininity. Long blond curls, twirly dresses and toy trucks. It was great to meet you all, Razar family! Thank you for letting me share the morning with you.
