I always ask my senior girls if they prefer Starbucks or Dutch Brothers, and this gal responded “Starbucks!” emphatically! Priorities, people! Kaci is a graduate of Paradise Valley High School, where she is in honors and AP classes, and holds an impressive 3.7 G.P.A. She is on the varsity softball and volleyball teams, and loves exercising, hunting, and camping with her family in her spare time. Kaci spends much of her time volunteering with the Anthony Bates Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, and Arizona Game and Fish. One of her biggest passions is her involvement in the HOSA club (Future Health Care Professionals), and says her biggest accomplishment has been her acceptance into the Health Care Pathways Program at PVHS.
In this program, she is studying areas of the medical field, shadowing actual doctors and nurses at the local hospitals and the Mayo Clinic. In addition, Kaci was accepted into the senior year class to study for her CNA. The difficult program only accepts between 4-8 students, so it was a huge accomplishment to be one of those students. When she graduates the class, she will have her CNA license and be able to get a job in healthcare right out of high school. “I think my best friend would describe me as a leader”, she adds, “I tend to watch out for our group of friends and stand up for them. After high school, I can’t wait to receive my doctoral degree in medicine…My dream is to attend Stanford and become a trauma surgeon. I loved this girl and her BIG dreams, and have no doubt she will achieve whatever she puts her mind to.
“I would like to be a member of the SSP Team17 because I have always been a fan of Sandi’s work. I first saw her pictures on Instagram by a few of my friends from church. I marveled at how well these photos had been taken, and have always hoped to have my own senior photos done as well as theirs. I have looked at other photographers work, but have never been as impressed as I was with Sandi. I also want to meet new people and build friendships with fellow team members. I would love to be the face of Sandi’s brand and Team17 in this upcoming year!” -Kaci, Class of 2017
